If you go down to the woods today…well almost! 

We arrived at Halton Millfest and were asked to set up our stall in Dingly Dell! This was a small grassy area enclosed by trees and next to the River Lune…stunningly beautiful and with an air of a fairytale! 

The weather was kind and the sun shone down as a steady stream of musicians of all levels of ability – both young and old – came and tried out the instruments. The lap steels were, yet again, a great hit and their sound added further magic to the setting. 

The event was really well run and the organisers were super welcoming and friendly.  We also managed to catch up with Phillipa (https://www.facebook.com/PhilippaWhitesideCeramics), a stall holder we met at Solfest.  

We have reserved Dingly Dell for Millfest 2024 so, if you do go down to the woods that day, make sure you drop by and say hello!
